John Dziuba
co-Ceo
John is the founder and majority shareholder of DASI, building the corporate infrastructure and proprietary inventory management software system from the ground up. He has over 30 years of aviation asset valuation, acquisition, management, marketing, and sales experience. In addition to his business acumen, he possesses extensive airframe and engine technical knowledge. John is a private pilot, and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, the world’s premier peer network of CEOs.
Rhod Gibson
co-Ceo
Rhod has over 20 years of operations and transaction experience particularly in aerospace and defense, with past companies including Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney and BAE Systems. He is a UK/U.S. dual national, and an approved person under the UK Financial Conduct Authority. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol and an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia.
Mike Heaton
President
Mike has 30 years of aftermarket aviation materials experience, encompassing Customer Service, Operations, Commercial, Site, and General Management roles. Working for BAE Systems, Airbus, Satair, and most recently DASI, his global journey has taken him and his family from the U.K, to France, Germany, U.A.E, and to the U.S, where he now proudly calls home.
Hiro Matsuo
Executive Vice President / Director
Hiro has over 20 years of experience in M&A, investment, finance, and asset management, with a focus on aviation. Hiro represents Marubeni Corporation at DASI, driving PMI strategies and developing capital structures in close collaboration with management. Prior to joining DASI, Hiro managed investment activities and led transactions in Marubeni’s aviation asset business, including the acquisition of a 50% share in DASI and the founding of an aviation lease arrangement & asset management firm in Japan. Hiro holds a B.A. in Law from Keio University and a USCPA certification.
